A sports bag, boots, a football and a water bottle
Pack it the night before – you will thank yourself.

Nothing slows a game down like a flat ball or a missing set of bibs. Keep one bag that only contains the team’s kit, check it with the list below and you will never be the one who forgot something.

Look after the kit

  • Wash the bibs after every game, or ask players to take turns.
  • Check the ball pressure before you leave – the right pressure is usually printed next to the valve.
  • Top up the first-aid kit whenever something is used.
