Privacy Policy Squad Night

Summary for busy organisers

  • Everything you enter into Squad Night – player names, levels, availability, scores, stats and kitty – is stored only on your own device.
  • We have no user accounts, no ads and no analytics, and we never see your squad.
  • Our web server keeps short technical logs to run the site securely.

Information about other people

As an organiser you will type in the names of your team-mates. This information stays in your browser on your device. It is never uploaded to us or shared with anyone, unless you choose to share it yourself – for example by sending a call-up or line-up message to your group chat or by sending someone a backup file. Please only add the information your group is happy for you to keep, such as first names or nicknames.

Where the data is stored

Squad Night uses your browser’s built-in storage (IndexedDB, or local storage if IndexedDB is unavailable) under the name squadnight. The match-day checklist uses the local storage key squadnight:kitbag. Backup files are created and read on your device; where you keep them is up to you.

Sharing

The Share buttons hand a text message to your phone’s share menu or copy it to the clipboard. We do not receive these messages. What happens next is governed by the app you share to.

What our server receives

When you open a page, our hosting provider’s server records technical data such as IP address, time, requested address and browser type. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting only, are not combined with other data and are deleted automatically after a limited period.

No tracking, no ads, no selling

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we do not sell or rent any data.

Permissions

The app needs no special permissions. It may vibrate briefly when the warm-up timer moves on. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone or files – except a file you pick yourself to restore a backup.

Deleting your data

Use More → Erase all data in the app, clear the site data in your browser, or uninstall the Android app. Delete any backup files you saved separately.

Children

Squad Night is designed for adult organisers of amateur football and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes and contact

We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. Questions? Write to the developer Dhaneshpari email address [email protected]
